What Did You Get For Christmas?

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I sure did. My wife indulges my nerdery! Here's most of what I got.

Hulk stuff from my wife.

Marvel 3 3/4 inch action figures from my wife.

Heroes Season 1 DVD from my wife. Blu-rays from my son. He also got us a blu-ray player. I guess it's about time we joined the 21st century! :)

A couple of Uncle John's Bathroom Readers and a People of Walmart boxed calendar from my wife.

Trading cards from my wife. I'll probably blog about the Mars Attacks Invasion cards in a later post.

M-M-Merry Christmas From Max Headroom

Wow! I haven't posted anything for over a month and it's nine days until Christmas. This holiday season is coming way too fast for me. I finally finished my tree yesterday and I have almost all of my decorations up. Also, I've been working a lot of over-time and things are kind of hectic. But, enough about me. You come here for tidings and joy! lol

I have a full box of Max Headroom Christmas cards put out by Hallmark in 1986. I found these at a thrift store many, many years ago for 99¢. I loved Max back in the 80s. Here's the front and inside of the cards.

And here's Max's classic holiday song from 1986 - Merry Christmas Santa Claus (You're a Lovely Guy)

Countdown To Akron Comicon Day 1

This coming Saturday is the 2nd Annual Akron Comicon. I went to the first one last year and had a blast! You can see my photos from it here. I'm really looking forward to going again this year.

To get myself in the mood, I am wearing a different comic book shirt each day this week and will share a picture of it for all to see. Because who doesn't like to see my t-shirt collection? :)

After Halloween Bargains

Yesterday I went shopping to see what Halloween stuff I could find on clearance. This is my loot.

From Target. Everything was 50% to 70% off. I spent about $22.00.

More candy I really don't need.

A trio of Muppets. Fozzie, Yoda and Kermit.

Signs, signs, everywhere there's signs.

An adult large bug appendage and scrapbook stickers.

Star Wars Play Packs!

Some decorations I can use this month.

From Spirit Halloween I bought a large jointed skeleton for $4.00.

From Rose's Discount Store I got two banners, a skull and some treat bags all for $4.50.
