My Force Friday Trip To Walmart

I also went to my local Walmart on Force Friday. Not as impressive as Target. They had a few things in the toy aisle. I found some t-shirts in the men's clothing dept., but they were all buried behind other shirts. I moved them all to the front. :) Didn't buy anything here either.

My Force Friday Trip To Target

I stopped by Target at a little after four in the afternoon on Friday to see all of the new Star Wars stuff. There displays were pretty impressive. I didn't buy anything, but I took a bunch of pictures.

Star Wars Actors I've Met

How's everyone enjoying Force Friday? I might hit some stores later today after work.

In the meantime, here's some Star Wars actors I've met over the years. There are a bunch more, but for some reason I've never scanned the photos or autographs. I'll have to fix that some day.

Of course, here's my absolute favorite photo. Signed by all three actors.

Dave Prowse (Darth Vader)

Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett)

Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian)

Gerald Home (Tessek aka Squid Head)

Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca)

Phil Brown (Uncle Owen)

Richard LeParmentier (Admiral Motti)

Star Wars Force Friday Exclusive!

This may or may not actually be an exclusive. I'm not really sure.

I've got some photos of some new items being released on Force Friday (Sept. 4) from a major craft store!

There are several different sticker and color activity sets (I even managed to snag a couple of empty display boxes). Some wall decals and some new fabric. There's probably more, but that's all I have pictures of.

I'm really looking forward to Force Friday and The Force Awakens!

The Monster Cereals Are Alive!

General Mills blog has released details about the 2015 Monster Cereals. They’ve partnered with Blippar to bring the Monster’s personalities to life through augmented reality on both the front and back of the cereal box.

In addition to the boxes that use the Blippar technology, Target is offering exclusive packaging featuring a cut-out castle.

And at Walmart, you’ll also be able to find glow in the dark, cut-out masks of the Monsters.

The 2015 editions of the Monster Cereals will be available at select retailers in the U.S. soon, with full nationwide distribution by September.
