Some notes --

Tracks 7 & 8 are from a CD called A Very Scary Solstice by The HP Lovecraft Historical Society. You can buy the CD here. They also have a free download of the song "Blue Solstice" from An Even Scarier Solstice.

Tracks 19 & 20 are from the album An Old-Fashioned Christmas. The full album is available for download at A Christmas Yuleblog.

Tracks 21 & 22 are from the album Monster Christmas Mash. This is one of my favorite albums that I've had since it came out in 1974. It's probably the reason for my love of monsters and Christmas. You can download it at Mostly Ghostly Music Sharing Blaaahhhggg!!!.

More scary Christmas music is available at the Universal Horror Sounds blog.

TALES FROM THE CRYPT - Have Yourself A Scary Little Christmas (1995)

This looks awesome, erick. Gotta LOVE that cover photo too! will let you know how I like this as soon as I can download it (the usual RapidShite limitations, of course).

Your blog is doing something strange now, Erick (has been for over a week or so now). Normally when one clicks on a cover image to view the larger version, the large one simply is displayed in the same browser window. Not so now on your blog....I instead get a message box asking if I want to Download, View, Save (something like that). Clickable images no longer simply open and display in the browser. What's going on here??

I found this in the Blogger Help section --

Clicking on image uploaded through the post editor will show a file download box instead of showing the full-size image in the browser. We are currently working to fix this issue. In the meantime, a workaround is to make two changes to the first URL in the image tag:

1. Replace "-R" with "-h".
2. Replace the image location folder (preceeding something like "s1600-R") with the folder in the second URL.

I fixed the cover image on my comp. It's now clickable. I didn't fix the other pictures though.

Okey dokey....Figured it might be a Blogger bug issue.

WOW! You've really outdone yourself this time!

Bela, Boris, the Grinch and Santa would be proud.

BTW, I forgot to mention that I'm working on my own interpretatoin of the Christmas comp called 'The Darker Side of Christmas'. I'd love to send it to you if you're interested. You have my email, let me know if you're up for it.

Like the title it's a little dark but I'd love to send it to you.

I've never done Rapid Share but maybe I could go that way if you're worried about giving me your address.

That "Do You Fear What I Fear" looks great I'm definitely going to check that out. THANKS!

Universal Horror and Fiji Mermaid -- I hope you both enjoyed the mix.

Skull -- I seem to have misplaced your email address. I'd love to hear your mix. I don't like to give out my home address, so if you wouldn't mind using RapidShare or any other service and put a link in the comment section, I'll give it a listen. Thanks.

Tremendous! "Monster Mash Christmas" was one of my longtime favorites as a kid. I decided I was gonna finally find the thing and get a copy, and damned if the first hit I found wasn't from a fellow Akronite. Downloaded your amazing mix, and found the link to MMXmas. Thank you, sir. A merry festivus to ya!

Ferris, I'm glad I could help you find that album. Everybody should have a copy of it!

Funny, I've been wishing everyone a Merry Festivus for about a week now. Maybe it's an Akron thing.

Hey. Ferris from Akron here. How you been? Here's a hot werewolf jam from NBC's 30 Rock show, which is great.

Here's a clip that sets it up:

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've been searching for 100,000 Turkeys by Chris T-T for a few years after I heard it one Christmas driving home from a family Christmas dinner. Not only did you supply that but you also introduced me to Happy Ghouldtide by Roy Odis, what an amazing track, can't get enough of it!
