Steven Spielberg's Falling Skies

This looks interesting. TNT will be premiering Steven Spielberg's epic new television series, Falling Skies, in June of 2011. It will be a ten week television event.

What five things would you want for survival if aliens attacked your city?

FALLING SKIES opens in the chaotic aftermath of an alien attack that has left most of the world completely incapacitated. In the six months since the initial invasion, the few survivors have banded together outside major cities to begin the difficult task of fighting back. Each day is a test of survival as citizen soldiers work to protect the people in their care while also engaging in an insurgency campaign called 2nd Mass against the occupying alien force.

Join the 2nd Mass!

We made it. Finally. We arrived just as the sun was coming up. It was gorgeous the way the dawn's light reflected in the glassy lake. I guess I never really noticed how beautiful it was up here. It was so peaceful, it made everyone feel a little safer.

UPDATE!

My brother has a better memory than I do. If I don't still have the actual toy or a photo of it, I can't remember having it. He reminded me of some toys we had that I didn't remember.

According to him, "We had the Bat Cycle but it broke very quickly. I had the Wayne Foundation too. Got it at the Mongomery Wards Outlet store at Akron Square. As I recall I paid like $10 for it." I still don't remember them.

He also said, "We each had a Shogun Warrior model. You had Raider. I had Grandizer." Now those I remember after seeing photos of them. Thanks bro!

I've updated the previous Heroes World Catalogue post.

LOST... The Retro Baseball Card Gallery

I was searching through some trading card blogs and found this. The blog is called Punk Rock Paint. It's mostly about baseball cards, but they've made a series of LOST cards based on old trading card designs.  You can see the whole gallery here. Here's some of my favorites.

My Hulk Stuff

I just shared these photos over at The Mego Museum forums and thought I'd share them here also. This is my toy room. I only have my Hulk stuff displayed so far. The rest of the room is a mess. Some day I'll get it all organized.
