I spent a few hours of my Memorial Day like I usually do. At the Hartville MarketPlace and Flea Market. I love this place! Here's what I picked up --
This guy had two tables piled with tons of little toys and other misc. junk. Everything was 25¢ each. I dug through it all and came away with these. I believe they are vintage 1978 Tim Mee Toys Galaxy Laser Team figures. I've read about them online before and always thought they looked neat. I've never owned any until now. I also got a couple of my favorite (non) dinosaur, the Dimetrodon!
There were 10 packs of 1984's A Nightmare On Elm Street stickers in the box. The dealer said he'd sell them to me for $7.00 and throw in the box. I couldn't pass up that deal. Now I need to find the sticker book to put them in. I also picked up another Dimetrodon. This one is a McDonald's Diener dinosaur.
For $3.00 I got this 1978 Eegee Dolly Parton action figure (it's not a doll damnit!).
One of my favorite finds is this unsharpened 1978 Incredible Hulk pencil. It was only a buck! It's a great addition to my vintage Hulk collection.
I'm slowly rebuilding my Smurf army. I sold most of my Smurf collection back in the 1990s. These were $1.00 each.
Another seller had a bunch of different little PVC figures for $3.00 each or two for $5.00. That's a little more than I like to spend on these. But, I paid the extra because these were Halloween themed.
Dinosaurs Big Songs CD from 1992 for $2.00. I can't wait to listen to this! "Not the mama!"
And lastly a Marvel Comics cardboard box for $5.00 that the seller thinks was from the early 1990s and used to have some kind of collector's kit in it. I just liked the old school graphics on it. He also had a huge stack of this April 1978 issue of Marvel's Pizzazz magazine for a dollar each. I bought one for and one for my brother.

Cool finds. I love that Dolly is an action figure.
Thanks John!
Nice haul, especially that 'not a dolly!' Parton!
Haha! Thanks Eric!
Great finds, but clearly that Dolly Parton figure is not to scale. ;). I miss those kids magazines like Pizzazz.
Erick! Awhile back, I picked up one of Dinosaur Dracula's fun kit's in October. It's like a loot create with all kinds of geeky stuff. Anyway, in that package was a Nightmare on Elm St sticker book and a pack or two of stickers. I'd be thrilled to send those along to you, knowing they'd be doing someone good instead of sitting in a box.
Shoot me an email if you're interested!
Man, I really need to find some of those Galaxy Laser Team figures that's my childhood at its best! Looks like you had a good day!
Tom -- She seems to be a little more top heavy than most figures. :) I miss those mags, too.
Dex -- Wow! Thank you very much. Message coming soon.
Bob -- I'm not sure why I never had GLT figures when I was a kid. I'm sure I would have loved them.
Love the Hulk pencil! I have a question, I really want a Mego Hulk figure from the 1970s and I know where one is except the people who are selling it are wanting $59. Do you think it's worth it or should I keep on looking for one that is cheaper?
Shulkie -- It depends on condition. If it's still in it's original package, that's a pretty good deal. If it's loose, I think you can find one cheaper.
Thanks Eric! It was out of the box, so I guess I'll just have to keep on looking.
