With all this work people are putting into their Halloween Countdown posts, I've seen that hardly ANYONE is posting comments, and I've noticed this not only on my blog but here and on others.
A trifle frustrating so close to Halloween.....wonder why no one is posting comments? Even one or two now and then would be nice. :-(
I think the lack of coments is mainly because this year there are so many people particpating, it's tough enough just to pop in and look at the posts. I've been trying to leave everyone at least a general comment every week, but know I haven't even been maintaining that.
I've seen the same drop myself. My daily riddle has always been my most commented on Halloween post, but the responses lately have gone from about 8 to 1 or 0. I know I've been getting about 2000 visitors a day, too.
I agree with John. It's great to see everyone participating in the countdown, but it's hard to keep up with them all. I try to check out a few of the blogs every day. Plus I'm working a lot of over-time right now and I'm just plain tired.

I look the same way as the Frankenstein monster before I have my morning dose of caffeine.
