R.I.P. Drew Struzan

This wasn't the post I had planned for today. But when I heard that illustrator Drew Struzan passed away on Monday, I knew I had to make a tribute post. 

Mr. Struzan is most famous for painting movie posters such as Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter and hundreds more. 

To make this post relevant to the Countdown to Halloween, I'll include a few of his spooky movie posters. 

Rest in peace Drew Struzan.

DeBord's Halloween Festival 2017

On Saturday October 14th I attended the 22nd DeBord's Halloween Festival. For the first time it was held at Lock 3 in downtown Akron. Here's some of my photos.

After I took this guy's photo and told him I was a big Star Wars fan, he handed me a 501st Legion coin!

Halloween ComicFest Is Coming!

HalloweenComicFest is the celebration of Halloween and comics! The event takes place October 29th at participating comic shops. FREE Halloween themed comics will be available, along with the chance for fans to participate in "The Greatest Halloween Costume Contest Ever!"
