Stuff I Got For Christmas Part 2

Sorry it took so long for this post. I've been deathly ill for the past week. But, I'm feeling much better now. :)

Here's the rest of the non-Hulk pop culture stuff I got for Christmas. Everything is from my wife unless noted.

2011 Diamond Select Frankenstein figure, ReAction Freddy Krueger and a skull sucker.

Snow Miser and Heat Miser Funko Pop! figures.
Rudolph and Bumble notepads.

Mystery Minis! Nebula from GOTG and Loki and Thanos from Marvel.
Loki is 1/144 and Thanos 1/72. Both rare figures!

 Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments.
Frano Harris "The Immaculate Reception" and The Legendary Leg Lamp.

Star Wars Imperial Cherry Sours, Jelly Belly Galaxy Mix,
Yoda Lightsaber Lip Balm and KISS playing cards.

Books! The Nearly Complete Essential Hembeck Archives Omnibus, Comic Books 101 and two Peanuts hardcover books from the late 1960s.

Seven packs of Stupid Heroes, one pack of Heroes and two packs of Mars Attacks Invasion from my wife. Two packs of Star Wars Galaxy 7 from my brother.

 Yay! Stupid Heroes sketch card!
Butter Boy by Neil Camera.

My son bought me the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and the first two Hobbit movies on blu-ray. I haven't seen the Hobbit movies yet.

I also got two more t-shirts. But, they're in the dirty laundry and I didn't feel like digging them out. Superman logo from my wife and Guns 'n Roses from a fellow co-worker.

Non-geeky stuff I got: lounge pants, slippers, blanket, knee brace, assorted candies and a bacon press!

All in all it was a pretty great holiday!

Steel City Con Part 1: Stuff I Bought

I had a great time this past Saturday at Steel City Con! It was my first time at this show and I was really impressed. Lots of wonderful toys, celebrities and cosplayers.

I'm going to review the show in four parts. First up is the stuff I bought.

Carded action figures. The Tick Crusading Chameleon, A-Bomb and She-Dragon.

(I don't know why Blogger won't post these pics the right way. I'm too tired to fix them.) Goofy Grape mug, a little Hulk and two D&D figures.

A bunch of packs of cards.

A bunch of single cards.

And a bacon cheeseburger! :)

We Don't Need Another Hero...

...but I got one anyway. I pulled another autograph out of a pack of Heroes Archives trading cards.

Heroes Archives

I just opened a box of Heroes Archives trading cards from Rittenhouse Archives.

I really loved this show when it first started. But, after the first season, it kind of got off track. I don't think the creators knew what to do with it. Oh well, I still enjoyed watching it. Hopefully they'll eventually make a mini-series or TV movie to tie up some of the loose ends.

Each box contains 24 packs with six autographs and one relic card randomly inserted. Here's what I got --

1 full set of 72 base cards plus doubles
3 of 9 Quotable Heroes
2 of 8 Heroes Generations

Autographs --
David Anders as Adam Monroe (limited)
Ashley Crow as Sandra Bennet (limited)
Bruce Boxleitner as Robert Malden
Katie Carr as Caitlin
Alan Blumenfeld as Maury Parkman
Zeljko Ivanek as Emile Danko

Relic card --
Claire Bennet's shirt from the episode "Pass/Fail"

Not too bad. I would have liked a Hayden Panettiere, Kristen Bell or Malcolm McDowell autograph. But, this will have to do.
