Trunk or Treat

My son and his kids came over to our place last weekend for Trunk or Treat. My son was dressed up as a Cereal Killer. My granddaughter was Pomni from some show I've never heard of. And my grandson was Sonic the Hedgehog. Here's a few of the pictures I took:

R.I.P. Ace Frehley

Well, here's another post I didn't plan on making.

Ace Frehley, the original lead guitar player for KISS, passed away at the age of 74. I've been a huge KISS fan since the summer of 1977. The first KISS record I ever owned was a 45. The A side was Christeen Sixteen (sung by Gene Simmons), the B side was Shock Me (sung by Ace Frehley).

In 1978/1979 Collegeville released KISS costumes for Halloween. Here's some pictures I found on the interwebs.

Rest in peace Space Ace.

NECA has been releasing Ben Cooper Costume Kids action figures in waves. 

They recently released a set of KISS figures.

Trick or Treat

 We had Trick or Treating last night. 

My wife and I handed out candy while the kids and grandkids were out beggin'.

Mr. Fun's Costume & Curiosity Emporium

I made a post about Mr. Fun's back in 2015. I thought it was about time to make a new post. Mr. Fun's is my local costume shop that is open all year around. They moved earlier this year to a new location. It's smaller than it used to be, but it's still pretty cool. Enjoy some photos I took there recently.

October 1st! The first day of Halloween!

An Old School Halloween Book

An Old School Halloween by Jason Young is a book about the classic Halloween costumes made by Ben Cooper. It looks like a really cool book. I don't own it because I'm poor. lol  I contributed a couple of photos and I'm listed in the acknowledges. You can learn more about the book at the following links --

Halloween Party

I went to a Halloween party last Saturday. I didn't dress up this year, so I'm not in any of the photos. Still had a good time, though.
