Here are the October pages from the classic Marvel Comics calendars from 1975 to 1981. I couldn't find a better scan of the 1979 page.

1977 Ben Cooper Incredible Hulk Costume

I bought this costume for my Hulk collection a few years ago and I don't think I've ever shared pics of it. I believe I paid $40 for it.

Halloween City

I went to the local Halloween City to see what's new this year. Here's some of the more interesting things I saw. :)

Funko Monthly

Well, I knew this would happen. It's been over a month since I've posted my weekly Funko update. :)

I guess I'll try to do this as a monthly update. Here's what's new to my collection.

I'm 50 Years Old Today! How Did This Happen?

Man, 50 seemed really old when I was a kid. Now, not so much. Well, my body feels like it's 90, but in my mind I'm still a little kid. :)

I had a birthday party this past Saturday. I haven't had a birthday party in many decades. But, I thought 50 was a pretty big milestone. Instead of buying me a gift, my wife (with a little help from me) put the party together. It was held in my mother-in-laws church, because it was free since she's a member. It was decorated in a nerd theme with the colors being green and purple, representing my fondness of the Incredible Hulk (not the Joker as my brother teased lol).

I had a really wonderful time reminiscing with both old and new family, friends and co-workers. And now for some photos:

The church even had a purple cross on the wall. But, I wasn't allowed to decorate it.

The church was a Pokéstop, so a bunch of us were playing Pokémon Go!

Michael Jones runs the incredibly cool blog My Two Yen Worth. He lives in Japan and we occasionally send each other stuff. The last time was in January 2013. You can read about that here.

I was wondering why he sent me this baby sock. First of all, it's not a sock. It's some sort of bottle cozy. And it was full of little Star Wars stickers! Yay!
