Giveaway - My Memories Suite Digital Scrapbooking Software

A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by My Memories to see if I was interested in trying out their digital scrapbooking software and hosting a giveaway. I, of course, said yes. You see, I've been a paper scrapbooker for years. I know it's not very manly. But, I enjoy it :)

I'd never tried digital scrapbooking before. So this was the perfect time to give it a shot. The download was very easy and after about 20 minutes I finished this page using some photos from this years Monster Bash --

There are many templates, papers and embellishments to choose from. You can make scrapbook layouts, photo books, cards, videos, you name it! Or you can save them as a jpeg and print them out. I can't wait to play around with it some more and see what else I can do.

And now for the giveaway!

One lucky reader will win a copy of My Memories Suite Digital Scrapbooking Software. To enter do the following --

(Mandatory entry) Go to MyMemories.com and choose your favorite digital paper pack or layout, then leave a comment telling me which ones you chose.

For extra (optional) entries do the following (make sure you leave a seperate comment for each entry) --

-- Follow Wonderful Wonderblog on Google Friend Connect.
-- Like Wonderful Wonderblog on Facebook
-- Follow the My Memories Blog.
-- Like My Memories on Facebook.
-- Follow My Memories on Twitter.

I will randomly choose a winner in two weeks on Sept. 11 (make sure I have a way to contact you). Good luck!

And even if you don't win, My Memories has provided a coupon code that provides a $10 discount off the purchase of the My Memories Suite Scrapbook software and a $10 coupon for the MyMemories.com store - $20 value! 21st Annual Cleveland Christmas Connection

My wife and I spent most of Friday at The Cleveland Christmas Connection at the IX Center. It features over 900 booths of funky, unique and affordable arts, crafts, retail and decorating items for your holiday shopping! We got a start on our Christmas shopping and I got autographs from several Cleveland Browns alumni.Ken Konz (DB 1953-59)
Vince Costello (LB 1957-66)
Ross Fichtner (DB 1960-67)
Sam Rutigliano (Coach 1978-84)
Matt Bahr (K 1981-89)

I also picked up a new CD by Mr. Jingeling, The Keeper Of The Keys called Story & Songs. Mr. Jingeling has been a Cleveland tradition since 1956. I've been looking for his theme song for a while now and this year is the first time it has been made available. It's not the original version, but it will have to do. Here's the track listing for the CD --

1. Mr. Jingeling's Jingle
2. Story of "How Mr. Jingeling Became the Keeper of the Keys"
3. "I Have The Key"
4. Mr. Jingelings Jingle Sing-Along Version
(tracks 5-24 are blank)
25. Hidden TrackHere's the lyrics to Mr. Jingeling's Jingle --

Mister Jingeling
How You Tingeling
Keeper of the Keys
On Halle's Seventh Floor
We'll be Looking for
You to Turn the Keys

Instrumental Break

He Keeps Track
Of Santa's Sack
And Treasure House of Toys
With Wind Up Things
That Santa Brings
To All Good Girls and Boys

OH
Mister Jingeling
How You Tingeling
Keeper of the Keys
On Halle's Seventh Floor
We'll be Looking For
You to Turn the Keys

Scrap Happy

Hello, my name is Erick...
(Hi, Erick!)
And I make scrapbooks.

Yes, I'm a scrapper and proud of it. I go to the local Archiver's on crop night and scrap with the ladies.

I made the above poem for a swap in an online scrapbooking group I belong to. Here's how a swap works -- First, the hostess chooses a theme (this one was Halloween). Each group has 12 people in it. Each person makes or buys 12 of the same thing (topper, stickers, paper, poem, brads, ribbon, etc.). You then mail your items to the hostess and she splits them up so that you get one of each different item and she mails them back to you. Hopefully I'll get back some cool stuff to make a Halloween scrapbook.
