My son and I hollowed out all of the pumpkins and he carved a cat (from a stencil) on the small one. We still have to carve the other ones. My son also washed and baked the seeds (mmm, mmm good).

The Pumpkin Patch
Sunday we took our annual trek to Dussel Farm in Brimfield, OH to buy some pumpkins. We refer to it as "The Pumpkin Patch". They sell all sizes of pumpkins and gourds from 50¢ to $15.00. We bought four pumpkins, a mini bale of hay with a little scarecrow sticking out of it and some hot apple cider. Here's some photos --

Isn't that where Linus waits for The Great Pumpkin every year around this time? :-)
this is kind of cool, but long before it was Dussel Farm, my grandma grew up on that farm and house.
