Monsterfestmania Review

Back on July 30 I went to the first annual Monsterfestmania classic sci-fi and horror convention in Akron, Ohio. The show was put on by the same people that run the Akron Comicon. I had a really good time and look forward to next year's show.

You can find out more about Monsterfestmania at these sites:

Website
Facebook Page
Facebook Group

Here's some of my photos from the show:

I met actor Felix Silla. He was Cousin Itt on The Addams Family, Twiki on Buck Rogers and an Ewok in Return of the Jedi among many other roles.

I also met some local horror hosts.

Dale Kay from Eerie House

The Son of Ghoul

Janet Decay from The Mummy and the Monkey

Vilessence Vile. He's not a horror host, but he's cool.

The Green Goblin head from Maximum Overdrive.

The local CW channel was there. Spin the wheel and win a prize! I won a deck of  "The King of Queens" playing cards. :)

Local cosplay group Rubber City Cosplay

Horror cosplayers.

The winners of the costume contest.

Even the cars were dressed up.
Here's some cool stuff I saw that I didn't buy:

Here's what I did buy. Weird that I didn't buy anything horror related.

Pokémon GO Team Valor (red) sticker.

I got a really good deal on some Funko Pop!s.

Incredible Hulk button.

Wizard World Cleveland Comic Con Review

I finally finished my review of Wizard World Cleveland that I attended exactly one month ago today.

I had a great at Wizard World Cleveland. I really enjoy going to shows like, I just wish it didn't cost so much. I did manage to stay for the whole nine hours. Here's my highlights of the show --

The number one reason I wanted to go was to meet Robert Englund and he didn't disappoint. Great guy, I really enjoyed meeting him.

I also met comic book writer Danny Fingeroth and had him autograph a couple of comics that he wrote.

I already had this comic autographed by cover artist Mike Zeck last year at Akron Comicon.

Had a couple pages from my Hulk 100 Project book autographed by artists Greg Horn and Stuart Sayger.

An autographed ad sheet from writer Tony Isabella.

I met one of my favorite cosplayers Knightmage dressed as Kratos and had him autograph a picture of himself dressed as Barbarian Hulk.

Paul Forest (aka Spock Vegas) appears at pretty much every comic con in North America. He charges $2.00 to take his picture, but it goes to charity.

I snuck a few photos of stars I couldn't afford to get autographs from. Chloe Bennet, Brent Spiner, Michael Rooker and Elizabeth Henstridge.

Jurassic Park jeep and the Batmobile.

Some Star Wars folks.

The crowd!
