This track is from the CD "Cleveland Rocks! Music From The Drew Carey Show" (1998).

From the episode "The Vacation"
Originally aired 12/17/97

In an attempt to win a Winfred-Louder workspace decoration contest, Mimi offers up a choir-in-a-workspace number that unfortunately loses to Drew's edible gingerbread desk-and-office space.

Merry Christmas Santa Claus (You're A Lovely Guy) - Max Headroom **Updated 11/28/07**

I was a fan of Max Headroom back in the 80's, I remember the Coke commercials and his TV series. I even have the set of Max Headroom trading cards. I was not aware of this song until it was posted on Falalalala a couple of years ago. It was originally released as a single on Chrysalis Records in 1986.

The Christmas Song - Angel

The rock band Angel was discovered by KISS' Gene Simmons in a Washington, DC club in 1975. They released six albums between 1975-1980 but never quite hit the big time. I had their album On Earth As It Is In Heaven (1977) when I was a kid and listened to it along with my KISS and Alice Cooper records. In 1978 they released a single called The Christmas Song (not to be confused with the 'Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire' song).

Christmas In The Stars

Here's the classic (?) Christmas In The Stars: STAR WARS Christmas Album. My neighbor had this on vinyl when it came out in 1980. This rip is from the 1996 CD release from Rhino. This album was produced by Meco Monardo, best known for his disco album Star Wars And Other Galactic Funk. It features the voice of Anthony Daniels as C-3PO and sound effects wizard Ben Burtt provides the sounds for R2-D2 and Chewbacca. The strangest thing about this album is that it features an 18-year-old Jon Bon Jovi (credited as John Bongiovi) fronting a high school choir on the song "R2-D2 We Wish You A Merry Christmas." Be warned -- this album is pretty cheesy.

TRACK LISTING --

1. Christmas In The Stars
2. Bells, Bells, Bells
3. The Odds Against Christmas
4. What Can You Get A Wookie For Christmas (When He Already Owns A Comb)
5. R2-D2 We Wish You A Merry Christmas
6. Sleigh Ride
7. Merry, Merry Christmas
8. A Christmas Sighting ('Twas The Night Before Christmas)
9. The Meaning Of Christmas
