The closest I ever came to meeting any Star Wars royalty was when Peter Mayhew walked past our dining table while we were staying at Disney World's Wilderness Lodge about 5 years ago. He was appearing in a parade at Disney's Hollywood Studios and I guess they were smuggling him out through the kitchen to avoid throngs of fans. I was quietly telling my son, "There goes Chewbacca!" but he's looking around for someone in costume. I regret not calling out a greeting to him. We were the only ones in the dining room at the time.
