The DeBord Halloween Festival has been going on for the past 20 years. This is the first time I've ever been to it.
It was a free family-friendly event that took over Hardesty Park in Akron, Ohio from noon until 9:00 PM on Saturday, October 10th. It featured trick or treat for kids, 125+ vendors & clubs (all kinds of vendors, not just Halloween), 10 bands, hay and train rides, wrestlers & roller derby girls, karate and the highland games, corn hole tournament, costume, classic car and pizza eating contests, dance groups, food vendors and more.
