Halloween Clearance and A Thank You

I want to thank everyone who visited Wonderful Wonderblog during The Countdown To Halloween. Halloweentime is probably my favorite time of the year and I love sharing spooky stuff on my blog! I hope I entertained at least a few people with my posts. I think I have enough Halloween cutouts to do this again next year. Thanks again for stopping by, I really appreciate it!

Of course I hit some of the after Halloween clearance sales. I was hoping to find one of those four foot, pre-lit black Halloween trees. I saw them earlier in the month, but I'm too cheap to pay full price. :)  Of course there weren't any left. But I did buy some ornaments really cheap. I might just pay full price next year for one. Here's what I got --

This is the last of my Halloween posts and the first Christmas post for 2014. :)

How I Spent My Halloween

10 years after I first wore it, I broke out the Uncle Fester costume again. I shaved my head and chin and went to work for the annual Halloween costume contest.

There were a few other pretty cool costumes.

My favorite costumes (besides myself) was Flo from Progressive, pregnant cheerleader and Cleopatra.

But, in the end I was chosen as the winner! Yay! I got a $25 Visa gift card.

I couldn't actually work while wearing the costume and not wearing my glasses.
So, this is what I liked like while I worked.

Later, the wife and I went to Longhorn Steakhouse.
Nobody seemed to notice that I was in costume.

We ended the night with a beer at the bar my son works at.
He was dressed as Ezio from Assassin's Creed II.
All in all, it was a pretty good day (except the working part).
How was your Halloween?

Drinking Old Ghoul-Aid!

I still have a few packs of last year's Kool-Aid Ghoul-Aid Scary Blackberry drink mix. So, I thought I'd whip up a pitcher-full and see how it tastes. What could possibly go wrong? I'm drinking expired Kool-Aid out of a mug I bought at a yard sale.

It wasn't so bad! I lived through it. :)

Your Favorite Godzilla Movie Is.........

Here's the results of this years Halloween poll --

There were a total of 57 votes. As I kind of suspected, the original Godzilla movie was number 1 with 14 votes. Number 2 was Destroy All Monsters with 11 votes. Number 3 was Godzilla vs. Megalon with 7 votes. And tied for number 4 is King Kong vs. Godzilla and Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla with 5 votes each.

Thanks to everyone who voted!
